Programme
Talk: Introduction to Self-Management
Wed 20th and Sat 23rd April, 10am-12noon
Drawing Room
Discover self-care techniques with this introductory workshop to self-management, led by Nick Wilson of Talk Mental Health.
Have you been feeling more tired, anxious and agitated, with a lower mood than usual? Do you find yourself struggling with personal and professional social interactions, mood swings and experiencing a lack of motivation and sleep?
If so, it could be that you have stored a number of stressful situations which have begun to weigh you down, the past two years have been fairly stressful, emotional and upsetting, and as such, we need to safely unpack this stress and lighten the load for you. Once you’re not so weighed down by the burden of these stressful situations, you will find yourself sleeping better, becoming less anxious and agitated, more productive and generally feeling happier.
Does this sound good to you? Can you relate to any of the above? Do you want to take back an element of control over yourself?
This can be gained by working through the Self-Care Workshop and is a great first step towards becoming more self aware of who you are, your goals, values, strengths and purpose, whilst identifying how to create the best version of you and when you next experience a stressful situation, you will immediately know how to help yourself, preventing it from taking over your life.
